The S.T.A.R.S. Approach

What does S.T.A.R.S. stand for?

S.  Student-Centered: Lessons at S.T.A.R.S. are student-centered, focused on working on your child’s individual needs and helping them understand subject matter working in a 1:1 setting.

T.  Teachable Moments:  Students flourish when they reach that “Aha!” moment and do so in our program by working on improving acquisition of new learned material.

A.  Achievable Goals: Goals are specifically measured and carefully monitored so that every student has the ability to learn and grow effectively within the scope of all of our programs.

R.  Relatable Skills: Students at S.T.A.R.S. learn life-long study skills which are also transferable to a plethora of occupational fields.

S.  Successful Results: Every student leaves S.T.A.R.S. with the knowledge and confidence that they have improved significantly in their reading, writing, test-taking skills, and most importantly, overall learning.
